The National Development Bank, a.s., is the national development bank of the Czech Republic. Its objective is to contribute to and participate in the promotion of economic and social development through the provision of financial products, particularly in the area of small and medium-sized enterprises, infrastructure development and other sectors of the economy. Its sole shareholder is the Czech Republic, represented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Regional Development. Using the state budget, regional budgets and European funds, the bank provides support in the form of guarantees and soft loans, thus complementing the range of banking and investment products on the market.
