The Professional Council for BIM is an organization that wants to systematically and long-term address the issue of building information model not only from the perspective of its application in the world, but also with regard to the specifics of the Czech environment (standards, legislation, etc.) in practice. The building information model has a wider and more general application. It should not only serve the architect for generating project documentation or constantly updated visualisations, but throughout the entire life cycle of a building – from architects and designers, through project managers and construction companies to building management.
