The CBCSD is a civil association established under Act No. 83/1990 Coll., which brings together companies and individuals who strive to create conditions for a sustainable future for business, society and the environment.
The aim is to mediate the active role of the business sector in the sustainable growth of Czech society. Furthermore, to prepare and implement corporate or sectoral programmes and projects of a local, regional and national nature with a focus on linking the objectives of sustainable economic development, ensuring social values and environmental acceptability.
In cooperation with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, to provide access to plans, new trends, programmes and their outputs, and to link national programmes and projects to them where appropriate.
