In 2020, the European Commission adopted the New Circular Economy Action Plan that constitutes one of the basic pillars of the Green Deal. It introduces legislative and non-legislative measures targeting areas where actions at the EU level bring added value.

European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform strengthens cooperation among existing initiatives at local, regional and national level, with the aim to facilitate the exchange of expertise, good practices, knowledge and lessons learnt in the circular economy.

Ing. Pavel Růžička
Senior consultant
Pavel is an environmental consultant with 19 years of experience in the field of environment with specific focus on industrial ecology, resource efficiency, sustainable consumption and production, circular economy and voluntary instruments.
He has worked in company ENVIROS for 9 years as environmental consultant and local and EU project manager. He focuses on management of international projects, policy advisory as well as implementation of projects in companies. He has been involved in a number of both national and multi-national projects focused on the above topics, and has also worked on EBRD projects within the Green Cities programme.
Pavel is certified Manager for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP).
