On Thursday, 5 May 2022, from 3 to 5 pm, a debate was held on the future of railway stations and their development potential for passengers, the railway and the cities themselves.
In a key-note presentation, Prof. Andrew McNaughton presented the experience, strengths and limitations of European railway stations. Representatives of the Railway Administration also took part in the debate and presented their visions and plans. They discussed how to use, the right level of commercial revenue and the functionality of railway stations, mostly in large cities.
